Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire contain a few sidequest, in addition to the main storyline. Some of these sidequests might require you to complete a certain events in the game. Some will take luck, and in the case of Southern Island sidequest, you'll need to get the Eon ticket from Nintendo in order to activate the sidequest.

From these sidequest you'll be able to get some exclusive items (red tent/blue tent), and the remaining legendaries with the exception of Deoxys and Jirachi are only obtainable through doing these sidequest. Click on any of the links above, to check a particular sidequest.
